Membership
Who can join the NMS PTSA?
We encourage NMS students, their parents/guardians, other family members, or anyone in the community who wishes to support our nonprofit organization to become members of the NMS PTSA. Our goal this year is to register 100 members. Help us reach that goal!
Annual membership dues are $10 plus $1 processing fee. There are multiple ways to become a member:
Option 1 (preferred): Visit the PTA Totem website to register and pay membership dues online. Totem accepts payment via credit card or debit card.
Option 2: Visit the NMS office and request an NMS PTSA membership envelope. Complete the envelope and include cash or check (made payable to NMS PTSA) and ask the office staff to place the envelope in the PTSA mailbox.
Why join the NMS PTSA?
Students are encouraged to join the PTSA each year of their junior high school career. By joining, students can do the following:
Help make a positive impact to the NMS community
Ensure events & programs reflect students' interests
Gain leadership, advocacy, public speaking, teamwork and event planning experience
Earn community service hours
Participate in PTSA-sponsored programs
Parents, guardians and other family members are encouraged to join the PTSA in order to do the following:
Help make a positive impact to the NMS community
Gain access to administrative staff to share concerns and ask questions
Gain leadership, advocacy, public speaking, teamwork and event planning experience
Meet new people and make long-lasting friendships
